Najah Brown is recent graduate of  the Pennsylvania State University, with a degree in Broadcast Journalism, and a minor in Business. Born in Voorhees, New Jersey, Brown moved at an early age to Upper Marlboro, where she has lived since the age of three. Living close to the nation’s capital, Washington D.C., Brown has been surrounded by current events and tourist attractions which was somewhat of a spark in her love for broadcast journalism.

Brown interned for her local high school station where she was granted the opportunity to assist with editing, produce live educational game shows, and perform as talent on weekly county videos to name the least. Learning how to work teleprompters, switch boards, as well as green screens, Brown developed skills inside the studio, and outside in the field creating versatility in her skills.

Aside from journalism, Brown was a member of the Lionettes Dance Team at Penn State University. This four year veteran helped develop the team’s social media, worked with the university's marketing team to help develop the teams brand within the athletics program, and was in charge of editing and sending out  music for all performances.

On a professional level, Brown was signed to well-known agency in Los Angeles California McDonald Selznick Associates, where she gets the opportunity to audition for national commercials and even celebrity appearances.

As you can see the entertainment/sports industry is her main goal, hoping to ultimately become a sports broadcaster, or develop a successful communication position in the entertainment industry.
